How to Use the
Smart-Splitter® Always wear eye protection when splitting wood. 1. Lift the wedge and place the log on the base. 2. Lift the striking weight with both hands and drop it slightly on the splitting wedge, securing the log. 3. Lift the weight to the top of the pole with both hands, throwing it downward. Repeat this step until the log is split. 4. To cut kindling, place it carefully and firmly under the splinting edge. 5. Lift the weight with both hands and throw it down. Periodically check the splitting wedge nut (fixation bolt) to make sure it is tight. A wrench is included to help you with this simple maintenance procedure.
